Farsh Guilak started playing racquetball in high school in Houston TX, where he won the Houston Junior Championships in 1982.  In college at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, he trained with Neil Shapiro, who later went on to coach the US National Team.  As team captain, Farsh led the RPI team to a final-four finish in the US National Intercollegiate Championships in 1985.  He qualified for one of the first National Elite Training camps at the US Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, where he trained with racquetball Hall-of-Famers Jim Winterton, Lynne Adams, and Dan Obremski.  He has won numerous open tournaments, including the New York State 25+ Open division, and was ranked first in this division in New York as well as the Northeast region.  Farsh was the head teaching pro for 5 years at Club LaRacquette in New York.  After taking more than 10 years off from racquetball, he is excited to be playing again and coaching the Duke Team.  He is currently ranked #166 on the International Racquetball Tour.
